Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda

Just got back from 4 nights at the Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda at Playa Del Carmen. The resort was wonderful. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The service was great and the food and drinks were plentiful and excellent. We would recommend this resort to any of our friends.

Just got back from Esmeralda Hotel in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
The complex was excellent. Very well maintained, the staff, pools, food were all 5 star. 15 + different retaurants to eat in on a night, buffett breakfast & dinner. We had a fantastic vacation with the whole family and the weather was great.

Great Family vacation

We just returned from 2 weeks in Mexico, in Blubay Resort. It was our first time in this location and we chose the Esmeralda hotel by reccomendation. It was an amazing holiday vacation. The location is extremly accessable and very close to the beach. You will need to take taxis or rent a car to the place and if you wish to travel to restuarnts in Cancun (15 Miles) you will also need a car/taxi. This resort is big compared to other resorts we visited in the Caribbeans, it is a full collection of hotels and you can enjoy the facilities of the whole complex. The room was excellent, modern and clean, with good layout, although maid service was not always prompt we got great service from the staff. The view from the balcony was wonderful, the bay, the beach and so many pools. It was a great resort, clean and modern, very friendly staff and loads of sport activities. I would reccomend it for families as a relaxing & refreshing vacation.
